Special Delivery Subscription Box LLC is headquartered in the United States and is the controller of personal information collected through the Services.

Account Registration. When you create an account or subscribe, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, phone number (if provided), and payment information (credit or debit card number, expiration date, and security code).

Recipe Submissions. If you participate in our Recipe Submission Program, we collect the information you provide through the submission form, including your name, email address, recipe details, personal stories, photographs, and any other content you submit. We also collect the date, time, and IP address of your submission as a record of your consent to our submission terms. Submitted content may be used in accordance with the license grant described in our Terms of Service.

Digital Content Interactions. When you access digital content through our Services—including downloadable guides, live events, recorded masterclasses, community features, or interactive toolkits—we collect information about your access and engagement, such as content viewed, download history, event attendance, and community participation.

Referrals. If you use our referral feature, we collect your friend’s name and email address to send an invitation. Your friend may contact us at support@getspecialdelivery.com to request removal of this information.

Data Portability. Request a copy of your personal information in a commonly used, machine-readable format.

 

5.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

Right to Know. You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the business or commercial purpose for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

Right to Delete. You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 45 days for CCPA; 30 days for GDPR). If we need additional time, we will notify you.

 

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods include:

8. SPECIAL DELIVERY SIDEKICK APP

Data Collected. When you use the App, we collect your email address (for account verification and subscription validation) and any data you enter, including meal plans, pantry items, shopping lists, and custom recipes.

Storage. App data is stored securely using third-party cloud infrastructure. Your app data is accessible only to you and is not shared with third parties beyond our service providers.

Access and Deletion. Access to the App is tied to your active subscription. Upon cancellation, your App access may be revoked. You may request deletion of your App data at any time by contacting us at support@getspecialdelivery.com.

 

9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to promptly delete that information. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 16, please contact us at support@getspecialdelivery.com.

 

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your country of residence. We use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses where required. By using our Services, you acknowledge that your information will be processed in the United States.
